Psalm 63:1 "A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water."
Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

Intentional Prayer Times
1. Every night @ 6pm, each family at Mt. Zion UMC are invited to pray together.
2. Everday @ 12 noon, each member of Mt. Zion UMC are invited to pray.
3. Prayer Meeting every Wednesday from 6:45-7:30 @ Believers Classroom
4. Worship Services will be bathed with prayers before, during and after worship services.
5. All church meetings and gatherings will start and end with prayer. - Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the 5th Sunday Breakfast Fellowship on November 29th has been cancelled.
- The Mt. Zion UMYF will be holding a Christmas Daycare Fundraiser on Saturday, December 12 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (2 hour minimum). You may drop off your child(ren) (ages 2 to 11) at the church and have 7 hours to do as you please! Get some Christmas shopping done, catch up with friends, wrap those gifts you’ve had stashed away or go to the market. The possibilities are endless! We will provide lunch, organized games/movie, afternoon snack and crafts. Please register your child(ren) by Sunday, December 6th. You may see any youth member or youth parent for a registration form. We must have 10 children registered for the Christmas Daycare to open. The cost of the daycare is $5.00 per hour or $25.00 for the entire day. This money will help offset the cost of future retreats/events for junior and senior high youth.
- Inter-Church Mail-- let the UMYF help you deliver your Christmas cards to others in the church. We will set up a post office box at the back entrance, connecting the breezeway to new fellowship hall. There will be two slots, one for donations and one for your mail. Please have all mail in the box by December 15th for a December 20th delivery.
- Beginning Sunday, November 22nd, Circle 3 will be collecting hats, mittens, gloves, scarfs, underwear and socks. The tree is set up across from the handicapped door as you enter the Educational Building. Items will be handed out to Person County Children via the School Counselors as they see the need. Blessings to you all during this Christmas season. Circle 3
- Coat Drive-Thanks to all who have donated for Christian Help Center. We delivered 15 coats and 3 sweaters. We will be collecting coats right up until Christmas. So if you haven't cleaned out your closet yet... you still have time! Please put them in the bin outside the Pastor's office. Thanks, UMW Circle 3
